Karan is a senior year, CS major undergrad, currently working on his thesis on Knowledge Graphs (KGs) under Dr. Partha Talukdar at the Machine and Language learning (MALL) lab, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), India.
Karan was the Indian Academy of Sciences (IAS) Summer Research Fellow 2016 - where he worked with Dr. V. Kamakoti at the Reconfigurable and Intelligent Systems Engineering (RISE) lab, Indian Institute of Technology - Madras (IIT-M). He was also a Google Summer of Code (GSoC) student in 2016, working on European MaRs Analog Station (ERAS) for Italian Mars Society (IMS), under Python Software Foundation (PSF).
He is one of the mentors for GSoC 2017, for the same org under PSF. He was a summer intern at Snapdeal in 2015 and was part of the Google Student Ambassador (GSA) class of 2014.
